? FELGTB federation names “top 10” LGBT-friendly companies in Spain
? List includes Spain’s Telefónica, plus nine multinational subsidiaries
When it comes to having a successful business, a lot of companies will try many different things to ensure that their employees are happy working with them. For example, many companies will want to make sure that their employees have everything that they could possibly need. Ranging from a good desk, chair, computer, even something as simple as sticky tape could make all the difference to your employee’s happiness.
Of course, it can go a lot further than this to make sure that your employees are happy working for you. And that is making that the office is diverse and accepting of everyone. Some companies have recognized this and have already implemented diversity programs in the workplace. Spain’s national LGBT+ federation has named the top ten companies working to promote diversity and sexual inclusion in the workplace, with the Spanish subsidiaries of five foreign-based multinational corporations topping the annual list.
The designation of the ten companies results from the annual EDEMI survey of major employers in Spain carried out by the Federación Estatal de Lesbianas, Gais, Transexuales y Bisexuales (FELGTB, or National Federation of Lesbians, Gays, Transsexuals and Bisexuals).
