• Nonprofits, NGOs to bring first-ever #GivingTuesday to Spain on Dec. 1st
• Spaniards can donate to cause of choice online via dedicated giving website
A group of 17 Spanish non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have joined forces to bring the global #GivingTuesday initiative to Spain for the first time on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Every year on the first Tuesday of December, the #GivingTuesday movement uses social networks worldwide too encourage individuals, organizations and businesses to donate food, money and time spent volunteering for non-profit and social causes.
The Spanish NGOs involved in this year’s #GivingTuesday drive hope to promote greater giving by citizens, families and organizations to more than 60 Spanish non-profit organizations and NGOs registered at the dedicated website www.givingtuesday.es.
