International tennis stars Serena Williams, Tomas Berdych, Simona Halep, David Ferrer, Petra Kvitova and others participating in the Mutua Madrid Open tennis tournament in Spain this week have lent their support to a media campaign against gender violence launched by the tournament sponsor’s philanthropic arm, the Fundación Mutua Madrileña (Mutua Madrid Foundation).

In a brief, bilingual video airing on broadcast television, across social media and accompanied by images in print media, on posters and billboards, the world-class tennis players express their disapproval of men who humiliate, harass and mistreat women by giving a thumbs-down hand signal as they each say the words of the campaign slogan, A mí no me gustas tú (I don’t like you).

This year marks the third year running that the philanthropic foundation of Mutua Madrid insurance company has campaigned against gender violence during the 15-year-old annual Mutua Madrid tournament, which kicked off its current 2016 edition on April 29th and runs through Sunday May 8th at the Caja Mágica stadium (Manzanares Park Tennis Center), south of Madrid.
